Ugly Duckling

I think another big idea in the story is love. The mother duck love all her baby duck. Although duckling is ugly. When someone were bullying the duckling, the mother duck had protect the duckling.

Good idea, Cherry; love is a big idea in this story because of the mother's act; of course, hate could also be another theme!
